Assistant Professor at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI). She began her research career in 2007 with a collaboration grant in the research group «Health Psychology: prevention and treatment» belonging to the Department of Basic and Clinical Psychology and Psychobiology of the UJI. In 2008 she was benefficiary of a predoctoral research grant in the same organization. During these years she has participated in different research lines related to sexual health, health promotion and prevention of risk behaviors, psychological impact of physical illnesses, and the design and validation of psychological interventions. In 2014 she obtained the extraordinary PhD award with a thesis on the approach of a theoretical predictive model of sexual risk behavior in young people, directed by Dr. Rafael Ballester Arnal (UJI) and Dr. María Dolores Gil Llario (UV). She has participated in national projects on cybersex addiction and affective-sexual diversity, international cooperation for development on sexual violence and promotion of resources and skills in groups exposed to psychosocial risk situations, and in multicenter projects on quality of life in patients living with HIV. On the other hand, she has collaborated in the elaboration of books and book chapters published in publishing houses such as Edikamed or Pearson, in articles published in journals of impact (ORCID number 0000-0001-8948-9233) and other indexed or popular science journals. He has also participated in the presentation of papers at national and international conferences. On the other hand, she works in psychological care at the Salusex health center attached to the UJI and advises public administrations on prevention and health promotion of children and adolescents.
