The SALUSEX research team of the Jaume I University of Castellón and the University of Valencia is pleased to present the II INTERNATIONAL SEXUALITY CONGRESS: EXPRESSING DIVERSITY, which will be held online from 15 to 18 June, 2021. 

The first edition of this congress managed to bring together national and international researchers and leading professionals, who are experts in the study, prevention and intervention in different areas related to sexual diversity. Our purpose was and is in this second meeting to attend not just diversity related to sexual orientation and identity, with a special interest in the sexuality of LGBT+ people, but also to the different manifestations of sexuality throughout the life span, the sexuality experience of people with physical or intellectual functional diversity, or specific collectives such as sex workers. The first edition also attended issues related to the influence of new Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) on expression of sexuality, emphasizing the relevance of current phenomena such as cybersex, which still include in this new edition.

We hope to enhance the international character of the congress, not merely as regards participants, but also attendees. We remain hopeful that online mode may contribute for this purpose, which will provides multiculturality as well as it will multiply the chances to contact with research teams from other nations, whose work and investigations are related to the sexual diversity approach. In this way, we intend to play a part in promoting again a meeting space between researchers and professionals from different fields, and try to delve in depth into the study of emerging topics.

We encourage you to be an active part in the II INTERNATIONAL SEXUALITY CONGRESS: EXPRESSING DIVERSITY. Your contributions, both communications and posters, will be welcome since, undoubtedly, they will contribute to improve the quality of a congress that we are all a part of.
