COMMUNICATIONS

SUBMISSION STANDARDS

The submissions for oral presentations, posters and symposiums must be done through the web page before April 30th.

The person who is going to present the communication needs to be previously registered. If it is not, the communication will not be accepted.

Simposium, oral presentations and posters must be submitted in video format and will be available on congress website. Video recordings must be sent ahead of time and duration shall be for 12 minutes for symposium, 10 minutes for oral presentations and, finally, 5 minutes for posters. Moreover, in the case of poster, it must also be sent. 

People who submit symposium’s papers should be present at online meeting to adress any questions or inquiries from attendees. All authors must be previously registered.

ORAL PRESENTATION and POSTER PROCEDURE

Type of communication: Oral (online) or Poster.

Title: it will be written in lowercase, sentence format, not in capital letters.

Author(s): must be indicated following this format: Surname 1, Surname 2, name’s initial letter. If there is more than one author, they must be separated by semicolons (i.e. López Martínez, J.; Serrano Ochando, L.). You must indicate the work center of each author (only the work center, do not specify faculty, department, etc.)

Each registered author may submit up to two abstracts, and may be co-author in a maximum of 5 abstracts. All this, excepting the student fee that includes only the option to present a single poster work or oral presentation.

Summary: maximum 2000 characters. Abstracts should be structured as follows: Background, Objectives, Method, Results, Conclusions. However, title of these sections should not be written in the text.
No tables or figures can be inserted in the summary. If the summary is pasted from a document (word type), you must press “enter” when pasting it in the form or the system will not recognize that you have entered that text.

 

If these rules are not followed, the organization will request the first author to modify it according to the requested regulations.

In the personal area of the first author will appear a work certificate, if the work has definitely been presented at the congress (1 copy in pdf. for all authors. First author should share it with the other authors).

SYMPOSIUM PROCEDURE

Type of communication: Symposium (online).

Title: It will be written in lowercase, sentence format, not in capital letters.

Author(s): must be indicated following this format: Surname 1, Surname 2, name’s initial letter. If there is more than one author, they must be separated by semicolons (i.e. López Martínez, J.; Serrano Ochando, L.). You must indicate the work center of each author (only the work center, do not specify faculty, department, etc.).

Each symposium will have a duration of 80 minutes and will consist in five communications (12 minutes each one). The symposium coordinator could present one of the communication. However, that is not a requisite. It can be presented 5 works, or 4 if there is a symposium introduction (made by the symposium coordinator). The symposium coordinator will briefly present all the different communications, explaining their own communication (if it is necessary) and moderating the symposium.

Communications abstract: In addition to the symposium abstract, the coordinator must also send summaries of all the symposium communications. They should have a maximum of 2000 characters each one. They should be structured as follows: Background, Objectives, Method, Results and Conclusions. Those sections must not be written in the abstracts. All analysis should be previously made. It will not be accepted future lines of research.

PUBLICATION OF ARTICLES

The best works, selected from oral presentations and symposiums, will be published as an article in a monograph of the INFAD Journal of Psychology: International Journal of Developmental and Educational Psychology. (see publication guidelines)

SUMMARY BOOK

The conference book (with ISBN) will collect all the abstracts presented. The book will be published in pdf. format on the congress website.
